if each human born was cast from heaven to hell by the act of birth, then this would change the perception of many things in biblical text........ if god is each ones own "greater" self from another dimension, this would allow many things to be seen differently as well......... if god was only the truth of what ones pre-determined path was, and this is known by each ones own "self" from another realm, then this would change many perceptions as well......... if mans walk upon the earth was also as gathering data for comsumptiom, learning, and not just as physical food, then many things make more completed sense......... if each human born is as a tree, having two sides as a coin, then also many things have more meaning......... if all satan is was the potential of the mind of men to create "bad", while learing and advancing thru time, then this would change many percpetions once had........ if all "god" was said to be was only the truth each one contain a piece of within oneself, as each one live a life unique and with a immortal purpose as well as mortal purpose, then greater purpose is contained within all as well, then this would change many percieved meanings within text........ if adam and eve are a description of all men and women for the sake of speaking of one to describe all, then this also change much perception once had........... if the tree of knowledge of good and evil only be the conscious mind one NEEDS to use to secure many things for self survival, then this also would change the perception of many other meanings, and.............. if the tree of life was only the "heart" of all beings or sometimes also called as the subconscious mind, or the garden within, that whisper from another realm ones own destiny or truth, then this would change MANY THINGS once percieved in ways that cut may others out of having good purpose.......... i am in no way a proponent reading or not reading of scripture, and do not state such things for the intent of proving any text correct or not correct, but rather to prove that all possiblities are possible, and many possibilities have never been contemplated as possible, if they go against some personal interpretation once heard, and rather to voice that all questions and words are beneficial no matter what and who they come from, and can be the only thing that lead to more understanding or wisdom.......... Thank you for the wise words and I agree ![]() |

Topic: why are you afraid of death??????
maybe the question is why is the process to death painful?
I mean people fear dying because perhaps it is painful and no one enjoys pain. If you have a heartattack and die it was painful wasn't it? If you get hit by a truck driving 80 miles per hour is painful before dying. I don't see a happy smile in the movies when they show a man getting run over. If you get shot in the chest and you die slowly isn't it painful? The fear of pain before dying to experience your death is why people fear it supposingly?? I mean what happens to you afterwords(the actual death experience perhaps) is always a huge question and a debate that can go on forever with no concrete answer. Some say you are a spirit, you go to heaven, etc. etc. We just don't know even if we claim we do. Supposingly that is why the human mind found stories to cherish our minds to not fear it later on in life or for that matter ever. Otherwise our whole life would be consumed of thinking about it only and not actually enjoying the life we are given. |

so in otherwords their empire was getting challenged and it had nothing to do with religion at all or at least wasn't the main point of why Spain wanted to conquer England with its navy at the time. Well, thats what BRITISH history tells us. I would be interested in seeing the Spanish side of the story. I think in that time, it was all about expansion. Europeans were getting pretty equal in terms of navies and armies, so they started looking for trading opportunities. Dont forget also that the Portuguese were pretty dominant too. What with Magellan and his strait, and the Jesuits in Asia, the whole of the Catholic religious south was expanding at a phenomenal rate. It always has been the same with us Euros - who can make the most money .... ![]() so true what you say and highly interesting! Thanks as usual for sharing your insight! ![]() |

The High Elves of Silvernarion are allies with powerful magician pixies. Silvernarion is the Queen of pixies who guards an ancient tree that holds the balance of power. If this tree is harmed the balance of good and evil will be tipped providing great harm throughout the lands and beyond. Therefore the Kingdom of High Elves join Queen Silvernarion in efforts to protect this invaluable ancient tree. Lord Serendar is a powerful high elvin wizard who is wise and cunning and knows the significance of his responsiblity to protect both his people and the tree of magic. The lands will never be the same if high elves and pixies are harmed by a oppossing force. Their symbol is that of a blue star.
These are 12 cards that still need coloring. I will probably need a couple of days for this! So hold on tight as I will announce soon and ask for creative writers who can write about elves and pixies! Cheers |

Not the childish insult matches which are so popular here. Rules which would include throwing out gratuitous assertions and strawman fallacies. Wouldn't it be nice for everyone to use their brains and articulate their positions with logic and evidence? Wouldn't that be nice instead of "Your religion is stupid" "No it's not" "Yes it is" "No it's not" ad infinitum? I don't think it will happen to tell you the truth, but perhaps just maybe a few will find a way to have a debate to the rules you present. This is what will most likely happen http://www.Free Dating App.com/topic/show/150822 |

Thank you for the replies.
If you have a chance watch The Golden Age movie. It shows how possessed King Philip was with Catholiscm and really wanted to convert England to his belief system. He would consistently look at the flame of a candle and ask questions or receive answers. Then when the war was lost his candle went out. Of course this is just for movie sake, but interesting that he was determined to rule England with his Armada. Afterall Spain was at the time the world power. I am sure if the storms wouldn't have hurted his ships and allowed him to lands his troops he would have perhaps won against Queen Elizabeth. as you say we will never know.
