their mind
intelligence
sense of humor and adventure
their compassion for those around them

eyes
smile
those laugh lines around the eyes
their voice
their laugh

and a nice azz in tight jeans doesn't hurt!

yeah I've had some of those lately! laugh

On Friday, June 20, the summer of 2008 will begin in earnest across the Northern Hemisphere, with the longest day of the year.

The word solstice's Latin roots mean "sun stands still," an apt description of how the astronomical event appears from Earth.

For a few days surrounding the solstice, however, our star seems to rise and set at the same locations and the moon seems to stand still.

I love the solstice. The longest day of the year. The moon and stars have just been incredible lately.

This picture is of the full moon - you know how you try to take a picture of the full moon and it usually comes out as a big blur without the right lenses? Well we were driving from Ohio to Alabama on Tuesday night and the moon was just incredible. I whipped out my camera and took this picture --
How cool is that??

We usually travel to Serpent Mound for sunset and to Fort Ancient for sunrise during the solstice in Ohio.

I'm checking out things here to do this weekend with some friends.

How are you going to spend the Summer Solstice? It's a magical time. Enjoy flowerforyou

Nothing wrong with chatting or dating more than one person at a time, but if and when the relationship moves to a more intense one to one level then both sides need to be under the same understanding and expectations or you are looking for major disappointments.

It's all about communication, respect, trust and honesty.flowerforyou

that some people get up out of bed and say to themselves "Self... I think I will be a nuisance to others today". Isn't there enough BS to deal with everyday other than having to be this way or deal with people like this?

Yep, some folks tend to thrive on it instead of sowing peace, harmony and love. You get back what you give flowerforyou

I think this is a totally personal decision between the couple ~ and their doctor. Everyone is different, health wise. Every pregnancy is a risk to some degree. There are a lot of factors to consider for each circumstance involved in this decision.

There are always options ~~ surrogacy, adoption, etc.

I think it's the little things...

~ fixing his favorite meals
~ spoiling him like only I can do
~ listening - truly hearing him
~ that unexpected email
~ asking how his day was because I truly care
~ the unexpected voicemail just 'because'
~ making his life more comfortable in the smallest and largest of ways
~ touching him in that little way passing in the hallway
~ that special text message at the most unexpected time
~ trusting him
~ respecting him and his needs and his space
~ honoring him in all ways
~ knowing what he likes and giving it to him in abundance
~ that special look between us
~ and of course our private lives in the bedroom

and...this goes both ways flowerforyou

An elderly couple had been dating each other for 30 years and, at the urging of their friends and family, the finally decided it was time to get married. But first, they agreed they should work out the details of how their marriage was going to be, as to avoid any let downs or misunderstandings.

So the older couple went out to a nice dinner and had a long conversation about how their marriage is going to work. They discussed living arrangements, finances and other important stuff. Finally, the older gentleman decided it was time to bring up the subject of their physical relationship.

“How do you feel about sex?” he asked.

“Well,” she said, trying to choose her words carefully, “I’d have to say… I would like it infrequently.”

The old gentleman sat quietly for a moment, then over his glasses, he looked her in the eye and casually asked… “Is that one word or two?”

I'm dyslexic. I scream Ho Dog instead of Oh God in the throes of passion.
