Feel that way about a good friend but I know he doesn't feel the same, so no point in causing myself heartache Isn't it heartache anyway if you feel that you can't tell him?? yes it's awful, but at least I get to keep him as a friend. Meh. If he really is a friend, then knowing how you feel wouldn't stop that. May be awkward for a bit, but life would go on and he would still be a friend. Besides....how can you find someone for yourself if you are hung up on someone that you don't think you can have??

Yeah I kinda stopped following it when Marty McSorley got screwed by the NHL. Mc Sorley hit a guy in the head with his stick, on purpose. There is no reasoning that would even remotely suggest that he got screwed by the NHL on that deal. He got what he deserved. JMO Oh no doubt that was a crappy move and was justly suspended for the rest of the season, but I was referring to the fact that they then extended his suspension and they blocked him from even playing in Europe. That followed by the lockout killed off my remaining interest at the time. I must admit that the lockout very nearly made me stop paying any attention to the game. Even today...I rarely pay attention to anyone other than the Wings, whereas before the lockout, I was very much into knowing as much as I could about most of the teams. |

Having hope in life that some day you might find somone? All opinion are welcome, but i want to hear from people that been on this site and maybe others for a long time that haven't met that one or somone close to what they'er looking for. Other then seeing others that have. What is the one thing that gives you hope? Well...other than the people I have seen who HAVE found someone....not much actually gives me hope. The way I see it...there IS someone out there for me. Maybe, just maybe, she'll be wandering around one of these sites feeling just as...I dunno....not really lonely....but more unlucky in love...as I do. |

Think about this...even in foreclosure they still have that debt hanging over them. If you buy it...even if it's a 'short sale' and their bank calls it good for them, you COULD be doing them a favor. Just another view... regardless if you believe this or not, buy the house. Heh. After seeing the reactions here, added into my own feelings on it in the first place, I never really thought about NOT trying to get it. I just wanted to pose the question to all of you to see what, if any, other points of view there were about it. About the only things that will actually stop me from getting it will be the inability to get the loan, or it just needs too much work to make it worth the initial investment. Thanks, everyone, for speaking your mind on this one. Cheers ![]() |

I had to go into the headquarter office of Social Security today to get a replacement SS card. On the door I see the following WARNING: In BIG RED LETTERS .. ((((((((((( WARNING )))))))))))) ![]() It's a Federal Offense to KILL (?) KIDNAP (?) ... yada yada... a "federal employee" ... ![]() WTH. ![]() I mean last time I checked it was illegal, a felony & a heinous crime to KILL or KIDNAP *ANYONE*. ![]() Does the fact that someone is employed by the Federal Gov't kinda give them clout to NOT be murdered? ![]() Uhhh .. I'm ready to take someone out, but heck .. it says its a Federal offense ![]() ![]() ![]() I'll just go to a State office? or a grocery store? or a local car dealership? Random. Just random. ![]() Actually...kidnapping only becomes a Federal offense if the person is taken across state lines. I guess the boundaries are removed when it comes to someone who actually works FOR the government. |

If you dont....someone else will. Only the strong survive. That's kinda the way I look at it too....if I don't...then someone else will..and I will kick myself for not at least trying. I think the biggest reason my friend thinks I am wrong is because she used to work for one of the mortgage companies that were writing the loans that got people into these predicaments. She was just a grunt worker. Not one of the ones in charge of making the loans. She also told me that she tried to tell people that it was gonna bite them in the ass, but no one would listen. Go figure. |

OMG No. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. Many people let forclosure happen as a preference. Actually sometimes (often) If a person is in foreclosure part of the agony is that until the house is sold often their expenses keep wracking up. The more expenses the worse their plight. Sometimes even selling the house at a loss can keep the previous owner out of bankruptcy. Just because a house is bought in foreclosure you do not have to evict the tenants if you do not want to if they haven't already left. If you buy the home and better yourself it is much preverable to a specualtor who will pay little or nothing for it. Because banks and speculators often leave the home empty which only tortures the people who have sometimes been forced out. Sometimes they actually endure the rath of previous neighbors/friends because the bank does not maintain the yard and devalues the adjoining homes. For people who are forced out because of medical crisis or the death of their parents and can't carry two morgages it often means the flowers and trees die which is much more heart breaking than seeing someone "love" the home. Go for it without a second thought to the snide remarks. Sounds like sour grapes to me. Well..whoever owned it previously is already gone. So that's not an issue. One thing I am looking at is the fact that, after a period of time doing some fixing and getting things in order, I could always use it as a rental property and buy something else. I am 39 and I am starting to take a serious look at my future. I should have a long time ago, but things weren't falling in my favor for a long time. Now I may be in position to do something about it. |

As cheap as that house is priced....they were either very close to having it paid for....or the bank won't be making SH*T from selling it..lol
