Topic: WHY AM I MISUNDERSTOOD
In my opinion there are many factors that cause this. Some people do not take the time to ask what you mean if they do not understand. They just prejudge you based on their own assumptions. You can hurt people's feelings that way. It's a lack of communication. Some people do not have very good communication skills. Mind you, I'm not singling anyone out. Just an observation.

You know what? All I was doing was taking interest in the conversation. I saw something on television about some people who live on the street. It's really a sad thing. I just wanted to hear some stories because I was genuinely interested in what you all had to say. But I guess I shouldn't have. Sorry if I offending anyone. I'll be leaving now. Good night.

How can one enjoy the best things life has to offer if you cannot handle the worst? Life is full of heartaches. But it's also full of rich beauty. What I suggest is dealing with this head on. Do not push it on the back burner thinking it will go away. But do not let it define you either. It's not your fault. You will never forget this. But this will add to the strength you already have. Shutting the world out isn't going to make things any easier or better. Try to find a happy medium.
