I spent my college career learning to write creatively yet I still can't find the words to describe myself. I am something of a wayward soul, caught between and on the edges of different worlds. I am geeky enough to love Lord of the Rings, yet macho enough to enjoy a twenty mile bike ride. I think the world is ugly but I find beauty everywhere. I enjoy mind numbing entertainment but thrive on anything with intellectual depth. I love ideas, ideals, and concepts.

I am generally introverted unless I have an audience then I love to be the center of attention. I love listening to TOOL and Perfect Circle, but I can turn around and listen to Phil Collins a few minutes later. I am old enough to know better, but young enough to do it anyways. I am responsible and reliable yet impulsive and unpredictable. I'll joke about anything, especially if it's offensive but feel bad if I do offend someone. I am not religious, but I am fascinated by the divine.

I have a hard exterior but I am a softy at heart. I appreciate grand gestures but I live for the little things. I love the unlimited potential of meeting someone new, and hate myself when that potential is squandered. I love taking girls out, but can't stand the wait before I call them again. I've fallen off the horse before but always laugh as I climb back on. I am too hopeful of the future to sit back and wait for it to come to me, but I never forget the events that brought me here and made me who I am.

I am quite comfortable living by myself as a bachelor, but long for someone else in my life. I can be cruel to those who are cruel to me and love those who show me love.
